Our Students

Like our name says, we are truly "intercultural" – our students come from all over the world. We are the only language school in Hawaii to have students from so many countries - over 25 countries represented! 

Our Teachers

Our teachers are experienced professionals who hold or are pursuing graduate degrees in English as a Second Language (ESL). Our teachers are committed to meeting each student's needs and they work to create an enjoyable, comfortable classroom environment. Because of these excellent instructors, many of our former students come back to visit us long after they have finished studying!

 Activities

Students can learn about Hawaii and the United States by participating in the activities that we organize outside the classroom.  There are activities every day of the month and all students are encouraged to participate. Some of the activities are camping, sailing, sports events, beach barbecues, hiking, karaoke, hula shows, and a weekend trip every month to one of the neighboring islands. Attending activities is a great way to make friends outside of class and enjoy the beauty of Hawaii!

Intercultural Communications College has been offering English language education since 1990. ICC is accredited by The Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET) and is a member of the American Association of Intensive English Programs (AAIEP). ICC is an official testing site for the TOEIC, TOEFL-iBT, CLEP, DSST and Cambridge FCE/CAE/CAE/BEC examinations. ICC is authorized by Cambridge ESOL to offer the CELTA teacher-training program, the only such center in Hawaii, and one of only 8 such training centers in the United States.
