HOMESTAY

International students who are new to Hawaii are encouraged to consider homestay as their living choice. Homestay gives students an opportunity to totally immerse themselves in an English speaking environment with an American family. Students learn about American culture and experience local Hawaiian lifestyle while learning English. Most homestay families live within a 45-60 minute bus ride from school.

Homestay includes 3 meals a day (full board) at $860/month. No deposit is required. Three weeks notice is required to change to another accommodation after arrival.

HOTEL, CONDOMINIUM, and APARTMENT

There are a number of HOTEL, CONDOMINIUM, and APARTMENT OPTIONS for students who wish to live in Waikiki or nearer to the school. The following accommodations are recommended:

  • Waikiki condominiums (>30 days stay): Island Colony, Kuhio Village, Waikiki Grand, Inn on the Park, and other condominiums available.
  • Waikiki hotels (<30 days stay): Ohana and Outrigger hotels at ICC student prices.
  • Honolulu apartments: Pagoda Hotel

Polynesian Plaza

The Polynesian Plaza offers you the convenience of home while you're on vacation. The spacious studio apartments are comfortable and airy......perfect for Hawaii's informal style of living. For your convenience, all apartments are individually air conditioned and each kitchenette is completely equipped.
