Comments from students included:

"I had a great opportunity to talk with you! I know you are a very busy person and a high level professional. Sometimes I have read books written by business consultants, but I've never talked with someone like you. It was a rare opportunity to speak with someone at your level. I appreciated your personal focus on each of us - we would normally have to pay a lot of money for your good advice! As a woman, I was very inspired."
- Japanese woman, 29

"I appreciated your time and the opportunity to talk with someone like you. I was very impressed with your passion for consulting. Even though you are a small person, you have incredible energy. I will never forget how to shake hands. "
- Korean male, 34

"Thank you for an enjoyable time and your helpful advice. I learned how to introduce myself and how to build good relationships. I told my wife about the experience, and she was pleased with the advice about building relationships with publishers. So, my whole family benefited from your time and the experience (even my baby son!) If I need some business advice in the future, I will call or email you from Japan. Thank you!"
- Japanese male, 36

ICC's English for Business class features regular guest speakers from the local business community. Patt Steiner is a business consultant to Intercultural Communications College Hawaii, and is principal of her own business consulting firm, VentureSphere.
