Former
ICC Hawaii students Patrick and Aya sent us a postcard from Switzerland announcing the birth of their second son, Naoki. Patrick and Aya met at ICC while they were students 8 years ago. Congratulations, we all wish you and your family happiness!

「ゲートウェイ２１社」倒産において被害を追い、当惑されている留学直前であった留学生さんへ夢にしていた留学を断念する前に
ICCHawaiiはこれらの留学生へ救済対策として、限定で１ヶ月間（４週間）の授業料を奨学金として進呈することを企画。
この企画は、「ゲートウェイ２１社」の倒産で、すでに留学費等を全額支払いが完了している留学生もしくは、今回の事態で被害を受けられた留学生が対象。
「この事態で被害をうけた留学生さんの目標や夢をかなえてあげたい！」という
ICCディレクタークリストファー・リー氏の意向を表明。
Intercultural Communications College （ICC）は、１９９０年に創立し、Hawaiiでは、唯一の
ACCET 及び
AAIEP団体より認定を受けた高い教育方針をもつ、質の高い語学学校として知られている。
ICCは、一般英語プログラムのみならず TOEIC , TOEFL iBT, ケンブリッジ検定等 の準備プログラムからこれらの 公式試験会場 としても利用される。また、アメリカでは７校しかもたないイギリス・ケンブリッジ大学認定の英語教師養成プログラムである
CELTAトレーニングプログラムも開講している。
また、２００６年よりIowa州にある私立大学
Upper Iowa Universityとの協賛で、大学準備プログラムから単位取得プログラムまでICC Hawaii校で提供。
ハワイという土地柄、語学学習に向かないとお考えの留学生も少なくないことは事実だが、そのなかでICC Hawaiiは硬派に英語を教育できる機関であり、年齢層も幅広く、インターナショナルな感性を養うことは、間違いないであろう。

Dr. Daniel Janik, director of the
College Studies program at
Intercultural Communications College Hawaii, has just published "Footprints, Smiles and Little White Lies," a short collection of poems from the 1960's and 1970's.
This work is the first of three personally-authorized collections of Dr. Janik's published and unpublished poems, this one focusing on early works including the multi-award-winning poem, "Ministry of Peace."
"Footprints, Smiles and Little White Lies" contains ten poems: Seedling, Vortex, August Night, Hot Licks, Anthology of Spring Wives' Tales, Days, En Pointe, Ministry of Peace, Crescent Moon and Poetry. From 1964 to 1970, during the early American poetic renaissance, poets like Janik experimented with a wide variety of modalities and styles, many reflected in these particular works.
