A team of ICC students led by TOEIC instructor
Sandra Iwamura ran the
26 miles of the 35th Annual
Honolulu Marathon on Sunday December 9th, 2007.

In spite of the rain, this year 27,829 runners from around the world participated in this year's event. Ambesse Tolossa of Ethiopia won the men's division for the second consecutive year, with a time of 2:17:26. The first-place female was Alevitina Biktimirova of Russia, with a time of 2:33:08. 80 year old
Jean McHugh from Northern Vancouver set a world record for her age group with a time of 5 hours, 6 minutes and 34 seconds.
The Honolulu Marathon was first run in 1973 and is one of the world's largest marathons. It takes place annually in Honolulu, Hawaii on the second Sunday in December.
