The Intercultural Rainbow
Tuesday, January 08 2008 at 10:43 am Like our name, "Intercultural Communications College Hawaii", our students are truly "intercultural" - they come to Honolulu to learn English at ICC from all over the world. On Monday January 7th we started the first term of 2008 with a student body that highlights the dynamic multicultural mix at ICC. This term's classes include students from Argentina, Belgium, China, France, Germany, Hungary, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Mongolia, Slovakia, Switzerland, Taiwan, Venezuela, and Vietnam. Good thing that they have ICC's English Only Policy to help them communicate!
In America the rainbow is also a symbol of diversity, but did you know that Hawaii is known as the "Rainbow State" because of its many rainbows and its multicultural population?
