Homestay in Hawaii

Thursday, February 21 2008 at 1:38 pm Intercultural Communication College Hawaii's Director of College Studies, Dr. Dan Janik, has posted a short video on YouTube entitled "Homestay in Hawaii".

You can view the video below, or at:

In the video, Haruka, a former Intercultural Communications College (ICC) "Homestay in Hawaii" student, returns to Hawaii with her best friend, Chie. Together they explore the North shore of Oahu with former homestay parents Dr. Dan Janik and Setsuko Tsuchiya. The video was filmed on the beach where "Lost" was filmed. This beach is a popular place to see Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles.

In addition to managing ICC's unique College Studies program, Dr. Dan Janik is a talented amateur film director, and won a Telly Award in 2007 for his film , "Clean Water, Common Ground", a documentary film examining the issues of water quality in Hawaii.
