Teach English in Korea: Information Session 2
Tuesday, July 15 2008 at 11:12 am Intercultural Communications College Hawaii will be holding a second information session for people interested in teaching English as a second language in Korea on Saturday August 9th at 10:00 a.m..EPIK (English Program in Korea) is seeking teachers to go to Korea to promote and strengthen English language education for both students and teachers in public primary and secondary schools.
EPIK is now recruiting for positions beginning in February/March 2009.

The program is affiliated with the Korean Ministry of Education through the National Institute for International Education Development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any field. Experience teaching English as a Second Language, teaching degree or credential are not required.
- Under 55 years of age.
- Citizen of a country where English is the primary language.
Higher salary scale for those possessing an English as a Second Language teaching credential such as CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults). Intercultural Communications College Hawaii will be holding CELTA classes beginning September 15th 2008 and January 5th 2009, see the ICC CELTA page for more information.
Conditions:
- 52-week contract
- Work 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, 22 contact hours per week.
