The Neurobiological Learning Society will be holding their monthly meeting at Intercultural Communications College Hawaii, 1601 Kapiolani Blvd #1000, Honolulu, HI 96814 (Phone 808-946-2445) from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday December 3rd, 2008:

Freud's Legacy to Transformative Learning

with Dr. Daniel S. Janik MD PhD, Director of American University and Academic English Programs, Intercultural Communications College, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA; Adjunct Professor of Psychology (Argosy University Honolulu, Hawaii).

Papa Freud did much to elucidate the role of trauma in learning, but he also pioneered the idea of a second learning pathway that was transformational in nature. Join Dr. Janik in a viewing of George Luka's telling history of Freud's psychology and a spirited discussion on Freud's contributions to transformative learning.
