하와이에서 온 편지

떠나던 날 한국에는 폭설이 내렸다. 그 다음 날 도착한 호놀룰루 공항에선 거짓말 같이 화사하고 따뜻한 햇빛이 쏟아졌다. 직항 비행기로 한국에서 겨우 여덟 시간 남짓 걸리는 거리. 나는 세상의 저 끝에서 끝으로 아주 먼 여행을 온 기분이었고 내가 이곳에서 부딪치고 겪게 될 그 모든 일들 또한 내가 이제껏 생각해 본 적도 상상해 본 적도 없는 새로운 경험들뿐이었다.

Lotte Card Korean Commercial
Monday 01 June 2009 at 11:27 amDid you know that Ashli, our International Student Advisor and Registrar, was a teacher and model prior to working at ICC? She taught students studying English in Hawaii, Japan, and Thailand and modeled for international print ads and TV commercials.
Korean students may recognize this Lotte card commercial and all of our students studying English in Honolulu should recognize the "mother" in the commercial. It's Ashli!
